The Crown Group - Huntington PlazaHoffman Estates, IllinoisProject Goal: To provide all design, engineering and construction for the development of a 33,000 S.F. one-story Retail Shopping Center along with a 122,000 S.F. parking lot. A second phase included the construction of a 23,000 S.F. Ace Hardware store, a mezzanine area and a covered canopy area. Commentary: The Huntington Plaza Shopping Center and adjacent parking lot were built during two
phases of a construction plan. UISC served as contractor for both Phase I and II. The
one-story, steel framed building features both masonry and glass facades with
decorative glass towers. UISC’s experienced team supervised all labor and material for subcontract work, and completed all general conditions work with its own forces.
