To serve as the General Contractor overseeing all phases of the construction process for the "Turn-Key" development of a new 72,600 S.F. Multi-Plex Movie Theater.

Due to the vigorous schedule of the Client's architect for producing numerous theaters across the country, the majority of the coordination of this Project was placed in the hands of UISC. UISC successfully executed the building of this Theater that incorporated many special design features to achieve a high level of both quietness and viewer comfort.

Building areas include the following:

• Eighteen auditoriums with stadium seating to accommodate over 3,900 moviegoers
• An elaborate, two-story lobby equipped with Illuminated columns and a mirrored ceiling with neon accents
• A full service concessions counter with separate arcade area
• An extravagant exterior facade complete with curved neon marquee and box office
• A café separate from the main concessions with specialty foods that included its own eating area in the lobby
• State-of-the-art sound and projection systems

To ensure the delivery date of this Project, it was divided up into four phases of construction allowing for smoother flow for each trade from rough-in to trim-out.

Total Project, including design, permit process and construction, was completed within nine months after the contract was awarded.
