To provide all design, engineering and construction required for the development of a new 120,000 S.F. multi-unit apartment complex complete with commercial tenant space and parking facilities.

UISC constructed this apartment building in Chicago’s Western Suburb of Bensenville. This solid, sound resistant, masonry High Rise with one and two bedroom apartments has numerous amenities. A professionally decorated commons rooms with bar, a luxury sales office, reception area, mailroom and electronic security entrance are features of the main floor. Private patios, trash chutes and individual storage lockers are on every floor. Fireplaces are featured on seventh and eighth floor units. Every unit is furnished with kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.

Building areas include the following:

• 153 Apartment Units totaling 120,000 S.F. of residential space
• A 50,000 S.F. two-story Parking Deck
• 12,000 S.F. of commercial tenant space
• A comprehensive sprinkler system
• Telephone computerized security entry equipment
• Individual heat detectors with direct fire department hook up
• Two high-speed elevators

The entire Project, including design, permit process and construction, was completed within ten months of contract award.
